Open Art Studios
Based on the idea that art and creativity are inherently healing, we provide open art studio opportunities. Our open art studio sessions are a space participants to come together, and connect with their creative side in a nonjudgmental safe environment. The goal of the open studio is to empower participants to utilize art as a resource and a means for personal growth. Through a variety of media, our participants are encouraged to express themselves, and to connect their imagination, thoughts and emotions in appropriate ways through painting, drawing, collage, clay, and other mixed media materials of choice. The staff at The Hive share and work toward the goal to build awareness around the powerful modality of art and to bring art therapy services to communities and individuals in need.  To learn more about our team visit us at: http://www.violethiveart.org/the-team/
